The same yet not the same

She's the same cat, yes, but somehow not the same.

She was the regal duchess with all that fanciful airs. Filled with pride, she would look down on other cats. After all, her fur was the shiniest and of the purest of white in the neighbourhood, making most of my family members and some of my friends fall on their knees before her innocent look. And yes, being a Burmese cat did most of it. All she had to do was give that persuasive 'mew' to be pampered on the spot.

The moment she came back...

Her fur showed the signs of inadequate nutrition, her body revealed protruding bony features. She refused to play with her overjoyed brother. Six days on the street must have knocked some reality into her head, for no longer does she sit in such a poised manner, nor stare down upon her peers. She doesn't care to be the centre of attention. As if she lost trust.

I'm not complaining. We're glad she's back.

At least she's opening up to her brother again, finally jumping about all over the place. She's still hasn't regained her majestic nature, but that's alright. The saddest thing is she won't give that innocent 'm...

Haha! What a coincidence! She wants pampering right now! I'll be back another time!

PS Wedding photos...yes I promise.
