Christmas Decorations

HEY! Christmas decorations never fail to enthrall!

One thing about posh hotels is that surprises jump at you from every corner. That is, the decorations, all crawling out from a child's fantasy. Some time ago, I went for the AusEd-UniEd's Study in Australia & UK Education Roadshow at PJ Hilton. The ornamentation were astounding.

There was a table carefully adorned by the most intricate miniature infrastructure, comfy looking lights, plastic versions of Gulliver's little friends, and trains gliding across the railway tracks.

Don't worry. I'll give a brief tour.

I love this one. There's a warm atmosphere that come with it.

Along the way were such sweet looking streets with cottages and its villagers. I suppose it's in the summer, given the man sunbathing in the garden. Perhaps Australia in December!

Here's the railway track. Ah...and ho ho ho. Yup, I'm in a cheeky mood today.

Okay, this is the store, but one seldom sees the many portrayals of Saint Nicholas. Let's not limit ourselves to the commercialised red and white one.

Such a mysterious glow to the railway tracks! Does it not whizz you to the past?
Beside it is a coal mine, where its workers reap their own version of gold.

I particularly liked the merry-go-round, rotating with a charming song. This, I'm thinking, is the town. Wow, I don't mind having a out-of-reality home like this.
A ship drifting across the wooden sea...

There has to be where snow blankets the land, where skaters find a way to flaunt their skills. Ahh, the day will come when snow falls on Malaysia.

Sigh.

I can't wait for Christmas. (We're having a Christmas dinner! Imagine that!)
